Bruce, born and raised in Kalamazoo, attended Third Reformed when they were still meeting on N Westnedge Ave street. He learned the printing trade while in high school and joined Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1980. Betty, from Ontario, also got involved in printing after high school. She joined Wycliffe in 1981. Bruce and Betty met in Calgary, Canada at the Wycliffe Canadian office (in the print shop) and were married in 1982. They moved to the Jaars Technical Center in 1987 where Bruce is still involved in printing and Betty is in public relations. They have 3 adult children. |
