Denise Baumann
MOPS Mentor, Teacher, and Professional Life Coach.
Denise has been happily married to her honey and best friend, Gary, for 29 years. She has 4 great kids, Jeremy 27, Michelle 25, Bethanie 22, and Jessica 14. Denise has spent much of her adult life in service to Jesus Christ in the Christian community. A servant’s heart and a willingness to help, has allowed her to be involved from camp kitchen help and catering various church activities to mentoring leaders and public speaking. Her position as Events Coordinator at a Pregnancy Care Center gave her opportunities to speak to churches on behalf of the unborn as well as being a peer counselor, and teaching parenting classes. Having a special needs child has given her a unique perspective on parenting. Because she serves with passion and conviction for the cause of Christ she has been interviewed by the local newspaper on topics such as “Boundaries, When to say yes and when to say no” by Dr.’s Cloud and Townsend, and “Volunteerism and Parenting Teenagers during the dating years”. Her down to earth wisdom and engaging manner has been used effectively in developing, mentoring and teaching at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups throughout Southwest Michigan and in the Christian Community for over 20 years.
As a Christian Life Coach, Denise brings a yearning to see people reach and exceed their goals. Her positive and engaging manner allows her to quickly build a trusting rapport. Denise understands that life coaching means coming along-side someone to assist them in achieving those goals that may have seemed too elusive or difficult on their own. Transforming lives is what God has gifted Denise to do and she is thrilled to be involved in that pursuit. No matter what life stage you are in, a relationship with a life coach is a great way to “jump start” the “transformation” process. Romans 12:2

Sarah spent a lot of time moving around and meeting new people during her husband’s 12 years in the Navy, and understands how hard it can be to work around a husband’s crazy schedule. She has a special fondness and appreciation for military families. She enjoys gardening, reading, and cooking. Sarah loves being a part of MOPS because it encouraged her to get the help she needed and she wants to do that for others.
