Jonathan Kraker is the Youth Ministries Director at Centerpoint, having begun his work here in July of 2008. Jonathan is responsible for the overall aspects of the entire youth program including Jr. High, High School, College and SinglesMinistries.
Hudsonville, Michigan has been home to Jonathan and his family for many years. His parents still reside there and his siblings, Matthew (24), Carolyn (22) and Benjamin (20) all attend college and live in the Grand Rapids area.
Jonathan graduated from Hudsonville High School and then went on to the "cornfields of Iowa" (Northwestern College in Orange City!!). He received his bachelors degree in Christian Education and Youth ministry and then returned to Michigan and worked as a youth pastor at Rosewood Reformed Church in Jenison for five years prior to coming to Third.
If it has anything to do with sports, then Jonathan loves it! Jonathan played college football and lacrosse and continues to play these two sports whenever he can! He also enjoys (in no particular order of preference) - tennis, rollerblading, kayaking, biking, lifting, racquette ball ultimate Frisbee and disc golf (must be that's not like REAL golf 'cause Bill Crawford didn't mention that!!). Jonathan also enjoys a number of movies and television shows as well as listening of music of all kinds and reading.
