Bill Crawford has served as our Executive Pastor since the fall of 2006. His main responsibilities involve leading the staff to implement the vision of the church and working as a liaison between the consistory and staff.
Bill and his wife Kathy (an elementary teacher who previously taught in the Portage Public Schools) have been married for 19 years and they have three teenage children, David (17), Ali and Betsy (twin daughters 14), all who attend Portage Northern High School.
Bill is a native of Princeton, New Jersey and after attending Westmont College, studied at Princeton Theological Seminary and The University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He has done additional studies at Bethel Seminary, North Park Seminary, and began Doctor of Ministry classes at Fuller Seminary. Bill is the Author of the book What God Knows About You, and What You Should Know About Him and has served as a chapel speaker for pro and college teams and platform speaker for FCA camps, huddles, and banquets.
Besides golf, Bill enjoys golf and golf. He is involved in the Portage Northern Lacrosse program. Bill is an avid reader and is a real fan of C.S. Lewis. There are two things the Crawford's count on every year - a trip to the New Jersey Shore and attending a family camp in Northern California. Did we mention that Bill enjoys golf?!?
