Below you will find a listing of our regular weekly and monthly programs...
-Tuesday Morning Senior Adult Bible Study. Held at Centerpoint Church every Tuesday morning from 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., from September through April. Two choices of study are available. Luncheon follows the studies.
- Summer time luncheons and picnic. Once a month, May, June and July with a summer picnic in August.
- Community information and appropriate seminars. Subjects that are important to seniors are presented, and printed information is also available on many subjects.
- Stop and Shop. Transportation to and from local food stores is offered on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month. Call the church office (375-4815) for a ride.
- Transportation. The church provides bus transportation for church services and special occasions.
- Special Needs. Centerpoint will accommodate special needs by calling the Senior Directors.
- Recreation. Will include lunch outings, mystery events, plays & movies and two golf outings.
- Opportunities for Service:
- Preparing and serving at funeral services.
- Preparing meals for persons in need.
- Visiting persons with special needs.
- Helping others with personal needs.
- Reaching out to those without a church home!
- Medical Equipment. The church loans various types of medical equipment such as walkers, canes and wheelchairs.
- Christmas Caroling. Each Christmas, carolers visit the aged, shut-ins and those with physical difficulties, bringing encouragement and hope to persons in need.
- Trips. Day & overnight. Day trips per month & two overnight trips per year, along with enjoyment of a "Mystery Lunch" on a monthly basis. All activities, events and outings are advertised in the church bulletin and through flyers in the church mailboxes.
