Sally VanderBent Director of Women’s Ministry
My heart’s desire is to get women in God’s word, from young women to the more mature women. So as director of Women’s Ministry at Centerpoint, I facilitate/oversee the spiritual development of women through programs of discipleship, Bible study, mentoring and prayer. I have been a member of Centerpoint for about 15 years and on Staff about 1 year.
I am married to Dave, for soon to be 30 years. We have 4 Children: Amy 26 yrs just graduated from Cornerstone University April 2010; Scott 24 years will Graduate from WMU December 2010; Mark 21 yrs is a Senior at Calvin College and will graduate in the spring of 2011; Sam 18 yrs. and is a Freshmen At KVCC.
I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. Went to college for a year and decided it wasn’t for me, and at 19 moved to Colorado. I lived in Colorado for 4 years, and met my husband Dave. We married and he got a job in a city called Kalamazoo. We have lived here ever since.
As a family we love to camp, play softball. I enjoy waterskiing, snow skiing, hiking and just being outside. Dave and I still play softball on one of the church softball teams. Who would have thought that we would be playing softball on a team with our kids?!?!
