John MacMullen Director of Worship Arts Ministries
John MacMullen has been the Director of Worship Arts the past 6 years at Centerpoint. He views his role as serving to facilitate an authentic, passionate worship of God by building and leading teams of artists who serve through their unique gifts and passions. John and his wife of 8 years Kendra are expecting their first child this fall. The family also includes a greyhound who is lightning fast (at least he used to be!) whose name is Max.
John grew up in Sterling Heights, MI (suburb of Detroit), attended Macomb Community College for 2 years and then transferred to Michigan State University to finish his Bachelor's degree. He also spent 1 ½ years at Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL working on a masters in Worship Studies. John loves to play golf and enjoys any kind of water sports/activities (skiing, knee boarding, sea-doo/wave runner riding, fishing, etc).
